Our story
Our story begins in the early 90s, when the company’s main products were valuable women’s clothing and accessories. As the years progressed, the operating model did not take wind in its sails and so the direction had to be changed.
The former owners of our company decided to start a business in 2000, which we continue successfully today.
The company focuses on corporate sales, design and marking of textiles, work clothes, business gifts and advertising products.
Our product selection is extensive and includes the top brands of different product groups, but also cost-effective alternatives. The selection includes domestic and ecological options.
Fais’s business has grown considerably during its 30 years of operation. Today, under one roof in Hermann, Helsinki, you can find your own production, warehouse and showroom. Fais’s customers are leading companies in their field and sports clubs.
Facts behind the name
Fais Island is a 2.6 km² small island inhabited by a few hundred people. The island is located in the Pacific Ocean at coordinates: 9°45′37″N 140°31′15″E. Fais is also a French word meaning to do.
Fais is a 100% Finnish-owned company, whose services have been awarded the prestigious Key Label.
Sustainability
Sustainability is not just a trendy word or a thing that is nice to cultivate in one sentence or another. Accountability is about doing the right things with the right impact.
Through these daily actions, we are moving towards becoming a more responsible actor:
- we are constantly increasing the number of responsibly produced products in our selection and consciously offer them to our customers
- own printers, textile printing and embroidery reduce the carbon footprint
- we reduce the use of packaging materials without compromising quality
- we offer a good framework for work and career development
