Purpose of processing personal data / Purpose of use of the Register

Personal data stored in the user register is used to manage customer relations and contacts, as well as for archiving and processing orders. We also process personal data for marketing purposes, we use cookies in marketing communications and for advertising / interest targeting. Cookies are used to customize your user experience on our site, perform analytics and improve our services. Cookies are also used to provide customized advertising on our sites, newsletters and social media channels. The processing of data entered into the marketing register is based on the data subject’s consent. The company does not hand over the given information to other parties or for the direct marketing purposes of external operators.

The information in the Fais Finland customer register is obtained directly from the customer in connection with a purchase transaction or an inquiry made on the fais.fi website.

The information in the customer register is only used by Fais Finland. Information is not disclosed to outside parties or for the partners’ own use, except in matters related to credit application, collection or invoicing and when required by law.

Information stored in the register is not, as a rule, disclosed outside the company, nor outside the EU region or the EEA.

Principles of registry protection

The register is protected from access by outsiders. Access to the register is only available to persons whose work tasks require the processing of information in the register. Use of the register is protected with personal usernames and passwords.

Right of inspection

As a general rule, a member registered in the register has the right to check his data stored in the personal register and to ask the registrar to correct his incorrect data. The inspection request must be requested in writing from the relevant registrar.

Correcting registry data

Without undue delay, the controller must, on her own initiative or at the request of the registered person, correct, delete or supplement the personal data in the register that is incorrect, unnecessary, incomplete or outdated in terms of the purpose of the processing.
